Bear,s Smile for the day. My landlady just came through the door sporting a new hairdo and asked me how I liked it !!! She looks like a brillo pad stuck on top of a body..LOL.I just don,t understand why women with straight hair want curly hair and women with curly hair want straight hair ???? Bear, Wow, 21 days for you congratulations. Bear, rewards don't have to cost anything. It could be something you enjoy doing, like going to visit a friend, watching the birds,(happy that problem got settled), going out to dinner with a friend, get a new CD that you like, doing woodwork (if you like that kind of thing), and if you do you could give them away to your friends. I hope this helps. You're right Jack Daniels is not on my reward list. I hope how soon you will conquer that also. Have a blessed smoke-free day.... :) Sunshine My Milage: My Quit Date: 1/7/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 459 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 7,811 Amount Saved: $1606.5 Life Gained: Days: 67 Hrs: 9 Mins: 18 Seconds: 23

Bear - You hit the nail on the head when you said, "Now I feel like I'm part of an extended family." I feel the same way. Believe it or not Bear - I look up to you and feel comforted in your presence here. It's wierd - none of us live near each other and we've never met in person, yet there is such a strong bond. Oh boy, I'm getting kinda mushy. Enough of that! Back to the more important stuff - how is the bird poop situation working out? Thanks Guys I can,t help thinking how ironical this all is.It all started by reading an add in the local paper "PUFFERS WANTED". To this day I don,t know why I decided to attend this seminar.I think now it was out of boredom.. But I,m a luckey old b------ and the free meds was a bonus because if I had to pay for them you would have never seen the Bear. When I found this site there was no plan to quit smoking, everthing I,d ever done in the past was by the a-- of my pants. As you can see by my 1,st post I was still undecided even knowing the consequences of continuing to smoke. But I decided to hang around just to see what was going on.Now I feel like I,m part of an extended family. My success is all yours and you should give yourself a pat on the back.Without you I would have never stayed !!! hmmm...I think the reasons for smoking may number almost as many as there are smokers. I don't generally have an addictive personality. I did alot of stuff back in my younger days...never even suffered withdrawals when I decided to walk away. But I do have depression issues that I was self-medicating....way back then, and with smoking later. Probably even now with a little too much wine. A trip to the doc is probably in order for a lot of us....addict or not. :p All in all...life is better smoke-free.
