Hey, Kayla. I've read you on here and am rooting for you, too. Glad you made the casino! About the boyfriend? I guess I'm cruel - but kick him to the curb! Boyfriends come and boyfriends go - but your life does not! Once is all we get. I try to remember that every cigarette is a bullet and I am not bulletproof! Who knew? One day at a time! Joyce

Good on yer, Kayla, You do this for yourself and don't let anything or anyone else get in the way. Your strength and resolve is admirable. You deserve to be the beautiful non-smoker that you are! Kayla: You know how some smokers always say, "Well, I can't quit now -- too much stress, too many negative things happening in my world right now". Of course, it's just an excuse (we've all been there before, right?). But you know what? YOU are living proof that once you decide to be a nonsmoker and really make that commitment to yourself, it CAN be done in the face of enormous and multiple stressors. Wow! Give yourself a standing ovation and stay strong, because you're proving to yourself what an amazing, strong woman you are! Keep it going and keep the faith (especially in yourself)! Kayla, You are facing this head on and this is commendable! Take some you time to sort things out. You do need to be able to give yourself some relax time :) We are here for you and are very proud of your achievements :) Josie ______________________ The SSC Support Team.

Kayla - I was thinking about you at the casino this weekend - and am so impressed to hear how well you handled it! That's a tough scenario with smokers all around you - so good job! Now about that boyfriend of yours...you said he's planning to move out on the 15th - maybe you should double-check with him to make sure it's the 15th of APRIL in the year 2007! ;) In the meantime, hang in there and keep strong. You've got 3 weeks under your belt - that's a big deal! I hope everyone had a nice Easter. I have been going through my typical B.S. in the last 2 days. I had a great time with Mom at the Casino and not once wanted to smoke. Then boyfriend came home early and he has some addiction and honesty issues. Anyway just dissapointed and didn't have much to say so just wanted to let you all know I haven't smoked, I'm still reading even if I don't have much to say I'm still here and not letting him or anyone bring me to the point of smoking. Trust me if it gets to that point you will be the first to hear from me.I realize those morning anxiety attacks have alot to do with him. Now the 15th is his moving out day lets see I heard that before anyway Have a great day, and don't smoke!!!
