Thank you, Faith! I'm still quite happy with my quit! And still so very PROUD of myself! I've started to focus on eating healthier, which is another step in being "good to myself", and makes me feel so good about ME! Had a great time at the grocery store last night buying expensive health foods. It will be fun to experiment with different things. This site has helped so much! Someone asked me the other day how I quit, and I pointed her to this site. I hope she's been visiting! Still can't believe I quit after 32 years. I, like most of us, thought I was a hopeless cause and would die young being a smoker. So happy to already have 2 days added to my life! I have too much to do to waste any more days on smoking!! I'm slowly getting to the beach... I'm almost 1/4 there. That's my goal you know... I get to buy a new swim suit when I arrive... maybe some sunglasses, new beach towel... well, new everything, because I want to be all decked out when I get there! Don't worry about the skinny body flaunting! NO... I'm not giving up chocolate, but I have to cut back! I've been eating it like it's the only food in the world! It's my new smokes after meals, but I'm going to eat it in normal people proportions! I've put on weight already... am going to try to maintain if I can! I gotta obsess on something... so it just as well be something positive! "Interesting": Well, you've just become the poster child for quitting smoking and getting healthy. I thought I read that you were giving up chocolate! I've got to tell you, that's just sick!! Fine, eat your healthy and organic foods -- don't get fat like the rest of us, but give up chocolate? That's just blasphemy in my book! You really are doing so great -- I can't wait to see you on the beach (but don't you be flaunting your skinny little body when I've gained 10 pounds -- so far)! Congrats!
