How are you this morning???

Hi katie, OMgoodness, i can't believe you remembered me. I am a complete disaster. I didn't sleep well last night, and I always smoke more when I am tired. I am craving sooooooo bad. And about 5 minutes ago I started crying for no reason. Agggghhh!. This is hard. It's great knowing I have a buddy who quit on the same day as me. I see you're doing the patch. I've done that in the past. Can't afford it this time. This quit is more of a "I have to". I've been feeling like posting but don't know what to say or where to say it. I am just having such a hard time with the craves. It's like it is continuous and doesn't give me a break. I'll add you to my buddy list and download the messenger, then we can talk together as we go on this journey together. Sound good? Good morning Mommy, just wanted to check in on you and see how your preparations went over the weekend. Today is the first day smokefree for the rest of our lives and I am so excited to get started today. Did some soul searching over the weekend and prepared for today, applied the patch as soon as my eyes opened this morning. I know that there will still be some tough times but together I know we can do this. Let me know how you are and call on the group here to help get you thru the tough times, as will I. Hey there I was starting to get worried about you, I feel so bad for you. Now since I am so new at this quitting thing all I can do is tell you how I feel right now. I know that it must surely get easier each and every day that passes. You sound so down today, now pick yourself up and brush yourself off, take your right arm and extend it over to your left shoulder take the left arm and crossing it over the right arm reach for the right shoulder and squeeze as hard as you can - that is what my family and my grandkids call a bear squeeze. You need one right now! You need to take some long deep breaths and take one minute at the time. You have worked yourself up to a frenzy. I am no longer using the patch made me sick earlier today. So we are both running around trying to escape the nicodemon. Take some time for you - long hot bath. Warm cup off tea, soft relaxing music and long deep breaths. Scream out to the gang here at the SSC and I bet you will get all the motivation that you can possible take in by the end of the day. Stay strong and hang in there. I need my quit buddy to stay with me - READ, READ and POST! How lovely! Quitting together is the most successful way of quitting, I reckon. Keep one another quit, you two! We're all in this together... ...And change that "I have to quit" to "I want to quit." It makes all the difference in the world. See it as something you are doing to improve your life, not as a punishment. You can do it!
