It depends on the cigarette (regular, light, ultra light), how hard the smoker inhales and how many inhalations the smoker takes. There are usually 4mg of nicotine in a cigarette, however most of that is evaporated into the air - the average smoker gets about .5mg to 1 mg of nicotine in each cigarette. Hope that helps.
