Hi Wanda, In a way I ran away, but, I am were I am suppose to be. Hopefully, you understand that one. I did somewhat feared for my life. I was not going to stay and be miserable. I am babystepping to get my life back. It is not easy. My panic, I have everyday. Don't have the Ativan, but, I am surviving. I am proud of myself with the help of a couple of friends and my nephew who gave me tremendous support. I am going through the thinking part of everything that has happened to me. Anyways, Thanks.. Foa :)

Hi Foaped, What gave you the courage to "step out and break through" and how do you feel about yourself and your panic attacs, now?

Thanks Bonnie, The only problem is I don't have the Ativan right now. I am waiting to get a psychiatrist. I hope in a couple so, panic is still there. It is just getting through the without the Ativan right now that is the problem I am having right now. I have been going out with family members to do things. I do that. But, still proud of what I accomplished... Foa :)

Foa, Good for you! Sounds like you have taken some HUGE baby steps! I was going to suggest some teeny ones (like, when I walk dog, I say "I will go up to that red car then turn back, etc) but Greyhound buses??? Glad to hear it. I, like Maria, always have my ativan in my purse. I got 20 pills when I went to the emergency about 3 months ago and so far have taken a total of one. 1/4 before a couple of doctor appointments, etc.... I don't like taking anything, but I LOVE the fact that those lil babies are always available. If I am anything like I was 10 years ago when I went through this, they may just turn to powder. If they are helping you get out right now though? Do what you need. Again, Congrats on the progress. Bonnie

I know this is a late email. A late late one. I have gotten to the point where I can go out past my safety. Actually a big safety zone. Rode in the plane to WA state then rode on the greyhound to CA. I am doing good in this area. I worked hard on it. Sorry maria, and the staff for taking a long while to answer. Foa :)
