Today is the day

18 years ago 0 25 logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo 0
Today is the day that I have finally decided to quit smoking. It's been in the back of my mind for years but the past couple of months I really started thinking of how badly I want to lose this habit and get healthy. I've been a smoker for about 13 years and I know that I have a hard road ahead of me but I KNOW I want this and I KNOW I can do this. Wish me luck. Hello Bladekicked: Congrats on your decision to quit smoking. You will find many folks in the same boat you are in and many who have sailed far off but still hang in here at SSC to help everyone! We all wish you the best of luck and have loads of advice if you want to hear. What I like to share right off the bat is to use the tools on this site to help you follow the road on the left! Drink Drink Drink water until you can't drink anymore. It's great for your and will rid your body of toxins. I'm still relatively new to this as well. If you prepare you quit well and are ready, you're on your way to a fabulous smoke free life. Bladekicked, I'm giving you a star for those beautiful 5 days, and congratulations. You're a fighter I can tell. Just keep reminding yourself why you want to become a non-smoker. Believing that you can do this is most important. Have you tried chewing gum, sugarfree candy, straws, tooth picks, just having something in your mouth and hands really help. I think you need to reward yoursel for those big 5 days.... Hang in there Bladekicked and we will hang with you....
