cyberduke, Great news! This is wonderful, could this show that your dependence is decreasing? I wish you the best for this day. Remember we're only a click away if you need us. Please be sure to keep us posted on how your day is going. Take Care, Melanie _____________________ The SSC Support Team

WooHoo, WTG!!! It's amazing how our minds work. My patch is a comfort to me and I'm not sure how I will react when I go without it for the first time. Baby steps I suppose. Again WTG!!!

Hey Cybrduke!! that is AWESOME news!!! You are ready to step down and you are working your program really well and that's why you are ready for the next step, because your program is working but YOU are in control and are doing great :) So happy to see each other get all excited when the next phases come and things start to get easier. I mysef can't wait (Eve's feeling a bit selfish today LOL). Many Many Blessings!!!! Eve :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 4/8/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 6 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 49 Amount Saved: $18 Life Gained: Days: 0 Hrs: 12 Mins: 28 Seconds: 45

if we could only trick our brains into thinking we had the patch all the time for the rest of our lives, quitting would be a breeze, no? ;) that's great news cybrduke. that's great self-talk fodder for your next craving.

cyberduke, I'm glad that you're putting a patch back on just in case. Better safe than sorry. A lot of people have "step-down anxiety" when they go to the next lower dose, but now you know that you'll be OK. That's great! Crave the Quit! Hi Joy - I'm too fragile still to stop the patch. I'm not going to leave myself open like that. I like the idea of stepping down at predetermined intervals to make the cessation of nicotine a doable thing for me. Like I said, I've tried to quit countless times and failed. Not this time. I will maintain this quit come hell or high water. As far as the dreams go, if you've read my other posts, I like the dreams. My wife finally informed me that I'm getting a bit vocal during them and disrupting her sleep so I'm going to start removing the patch at night. So much for my nightly adventure!
