Hi Bump,
Not that long ago, I had taken my SUV to a car wash - it wasn't that dirty but I wanted all smoke smell gone, so off I went.
They steam cleaned all the carpet, wiped everything down, sure smelled fresh!!
I came home in my nice, shiny blue 4-runner... I drive it in the driveway and decied that was also the day to clean out the back as there was a dog crate, and some other things back there, and I wanted to donate the dog crate to a rescue organization...
One thing at a time, I cleaned out the back. Well, under everything, there was a BRAND NEW PACK OF cigarettes sitting there just staring at me, calling my name in the softest voice - in just a whisper, a very sensual whisper.
I just stood there. Neighbors would have wondered what in the world I was doing had anyone seen me just standing there staring into the back of the car with my hands on my hips, scratching my head...
Damn, I thought, this is NOT GOOD... I walked around the inside of my garage, thinking, a brand new pack of cigarettes??? WTF is this? A test for sure.
I finished cleaning out the back of my SUV. I then walked over to the cigarettes, picked them up and opened the pack. I took them into my kitchen, drenched them w/water and thew them OUTSIDE...
Get rid of those smokes, Bump - now. Don't do that to yourself, it makes no sense.
I am about as stubborn as anyone I've ever known, and I am dong well with my Quit, and there is NO WAY I would put myself in the position you are putting yourself in, no way. I am not going to tease my Quit, and that's exactly what you are doing.
One more thing, dear one, go back and read Shevie's post again - talk about wisdom in black and white.
Blessings -
