A very early morning update....

ang, Each smoker has different withdrawal symptoms - yours will be unique. Although they may be unpleasant, they do pass. When you experience withdrawal symptoms, remind yourself that each symptom is a sign of recovery - your body is in the process of healing itself. Think of withdrawal symptoms as growing pains. If you have a symptom that persists or seems worse than you expected, you should immediately consult a doctor. Its possible that your smoking has been masking symptoms of some illness, and when you stop smoking the symptoms abruptly become noticeable. Good morning Knight Ang ! I hope that you are feeling better today. I know what you mean though about having a shorter temper. I'm not sure if it is the quit or what, but I do get more upset than usual. Perhaps smoking stiffled our emotions.. and now they are freer to flow.. ??? You are going to make it through this blah feeling.. remember, smoking wouldn't make any of it better,, you would only feel really bad about it and make the whole situation worse. Good days to come.. :) Hang tuff Knight ! Hey Everyone, It's 1:33 Am here can't sleep. I usually do my update everyday so I decided to do it a bit early today since i won't get a chance tomm, I don't think. I dont know if its not smoking or not but lately I have been very irratable, and angry. Snapping at people very quickly. I have a quick temper lately and it's not like me. I dont want to blame it on not smoking as my house is pretty tense right now! It could cause anyone to snap with the tension I feel so strongly!!! Anyways I got into the habit of lighting up insence. It feels like i am lighting up a cigarette sort of. I liked the lighting up ritual when I smoked. plus it smells much nicer! When I get mad I guess go away to cool off and light up!! :-) the insence I mean! :-) Its my first instinct now, instead of running outside in the cold making things worse for myself! So I guess this quit has its ups and downs but lately its been well. Its mostly my home that bothers me not my cravings to smoke which is good! I can only deal with things as they come and one at a time! I guess I should get off to bed I have a busy day ahead of me! So Good-Morning all!! How my Knights doing? Goodmorning Ang. I really hope you are feeling better. I've been watching your quit and your progress. I just wanted to say you have the right attitude and everything you need to succeed in this quit. You are doing an awesome job! Don't let any bad day or bad situation get you down. You keep your chin up, keep that possitive attitude you have going there and there is nothing you can't accomplish! You have your whole life in front of you and I see nothing but success and happines in your future. You get through all of this and keep on marching until you reach those good days. They are there and you will make it. ang, Welcome to quitting. Yes, it has its good and bad days. All you can do is hope the bad days aren't "that" bad and really focus on the good days that you've had. The good news is that the bad days don't last forever and are well outnumbered by the good days. Hang in there and just let this day run its course and then be rid of it. You are doing great and that is what counts! Keep on keepin' on! [b][color=Purple]Be Strong. Be Smart.
