CobenFan... Congratulations on making it through Hell Week!!! That is the worse week of anyone's quit and you made it. Yes things to do get much, much better as time goes on. Unfortunatley, it doesn't come without a little bit of grief along the way. Tough it out and know that once you make it through the rough parts, it is so awesome! I promise you, the freedom you will gain from not smoking is worth every bit of agony you may be going through now.
You said you just want to smoke because you can't...well, friend you CAN smoke any time you want to. You need to look at your quit in terms of a choice. You have made the choice not to smoke because of several reasons. Putting the quit in this persepctive really helped me a lot. It so much easier to choose to do something than to be forced to do it. Remember to follow N.O.P.E Not One Puff Ever and you've got it made! In time those constant thoughts of smoking will go away. Just hang on and try to distract yourself as much as possible until you get there.
