Yes I am still alive also

Just wanted to let everyone know I am still here and still not smoking. Just to fill you guys in. My computer got a virus, so I had to deal with that but most of all. I gained 25 lbs; none of my clothes fit; I am miserable about that. I also got shingles and am dealing with that. \ I am still not smoking and do not intend to but I miss it and I hate eating like this. It's probably this time of year here in PA also. I have missed it terribly at times but I have not gone back and will not. The people I have talked to said it takes a good year or two and everyone is different; but the nicotine is defintely out of my system so its not that; I guess its just it was such a part of my life. It;s really wierd because I know some people that it does not bother and then there a people that have quit for years and still get the urge to smoke every now and then. I will just be glad but a year or two is up and I can handle this better. Overall I am very proud of myself and I am glad about my quit. Just wanted to let everyone know I am still out there and did not cave. Shadow!!!!! So good to see you again! Hey don't worry about the weight.... do a little walking and it will go. You quit smoking, you can lose weight. Don't worry about being this far into your quit and still missing the smoking either. Honestly, I didn't stop missing it until I was six months quit and even after that I still have times I think about it. Really that doesn't matter...because We don't smoke. That is what matters. Everything else is just thoughts and feelings. The more we deal with them the better it gets. Hang in there. Your meter is looking mighty good there.
