Penquin...my freedom mark was right around 62 days. I had a bad spell for 2 or 3 days and then woke up one morning and just felt that I was going to make it. We all get there if we keep hanging on. Congratulations! penquin, At 58 days or so I had an all day knock down, drag out fight with that old nicodemon myself. I won! You won! Now I'm 8 1/2 months quit and feel great! The craves are toast. Sure, I've had a couple of "thoughts" over the months, but that's all they were. I just let them go like water off a ducks back. (Speaking of ducks.. anyone see or hear from duckman lately?) Anyway, you cleared a big hurdle. You now have confidence that only comes from a victory over this rotten addiction! Relish this moment in time. You have a great attitude and have realized that quitting, as well as smoking, is a choice. You have choosen wisely. [b][color=Purple]Be Strong. Be Smart. Didn't know where exactly to post, but I feel really good today. I've noticed since my wrestling match with the Demon (while I had the flu) earlier in the week, that my triggers have decreased. I get surprised that I haven't thought about smoking during certain times and I am really happy about that. I also am feeling really confident that I AM GOING TO BEAT THIS THING! Not smug though. I have a ways to go still. But there is light at the end of the tunnel. I guess that is what that fight was all about. So even though it hurt and I had a hiccup, It was all worth it!! Keep on working hard everyone. If I can do it, so can you.! It's a choice!
