Thanks everyone :)
I slept most of the day which is a good thing because I didn't
think of the craves.
I just finished off some delicious chicken soup and will watch
some t.v. and get to bed early. I'm so exhausted even though I
spent most of the day in bed.
I appreciate your concern .. have a super evening !

I could probably go into a 1/2 dozen reasons why I smoked.....
and then tell you how horrible I feel/felt about the whole damn
thing.. But there is no excuse which is acceptable to me for doing
what I did. I made a gross mistake.. I caved.. and now I'm back
to start all over again.
I so hope that I will be welcomed back because I need your help.
I learned from what I did.. one of the biggest things was that
smoking didn't make the situation better, in fact it did the
opposite.
Also I'll be on as much as I can as it's difficult for me to keep
going to the computer because I fractured a bone in the top of
my foot yesterday so I'm hobbling around and on big time pain killers.

Hi Seamus...
I'm so sorry to have read about you relapsing.
My heart goes out to you because I know the feeling...did
the same thing.
I posted in the Introduction that I slipped and am restarting.
One major thing I learned is that smoking didn't change anything
which was going on with me. I also can relate when you talk about
the stresses in your life.. again, it didn't make a difference.
I very much hope that when you feel to get back to the quit you'll
go into it with new coping skills.
But also Seamus.. I wish you all the very best because you are
such a giving and compassionate person.
When you do come back you're going to have so many people at the
'door' waiting to greet you with open arms!
See you soon .. I hope.

Thank you EVER so much Silvia and mamakitty ! :)
Your words of support are so important to me right now.
The pain from slipping and the pain from my foot combined
are somewhat hellish.. but it's more of a hell to smoke !
Yes mamakitty I am going to set up my easel and do some drawings
and perhaps finish up a painting that I've put aside for a long
time.
Once again.. thank you and I'll be back later on for sure :)
(((((((hugs)))))))

Ohhhh Lamplighter.. you have so much confidence in me and that
just makes me feel so good ! What you wrote brought tears to
my eyes.. good tears.. tears that boosted my spirit sky high :)
I don't know how to thank you.. other than just saying thanks hon.
Wow.. all of this support, compassion and uplifting posts are truly
amazing.
Today I did take your advice and rested my foot and I also did some
drawing, sipped on some tea and stayed cool - damn hot out there
today.
Then around 1 pm a good friend of mine dropped in with some decadent
desserts, she made a pot of coffee and we both chatted for a few
hours :)
I'm real tired from the pain med's and... I DID NOT SMOKE !
I'll be going to sleep early and probably have a similar day tomorrow.
Need all the rest I can get so that my foot will heal sooner than
later.
Thanks everyone.. I'm so lucky to have you watching my back.
Seamus.. when you're ready you know I'll be here and then I can
watch your back :)
