Hi Pat, that was an excellent post! The funny thing is, that I work in a drug & alcohol treatment facility & am around "addicts" every day but I never considered myself to be one of them, until just now. I AM!!!!
Just like jeanigirl, I lied about how long I've smoked. If asked, I would say 10 years but in truth it was more that 30 years. I figured that if I said it enough, sooner or later I might start to believe it. I wasn't fooling anyone...not even me.
NO MORE! I AM SOOOOO DONE WITH IT!!!! Yes, I am standing on the highest mountain & yelling, I AM FREE :)

This is my last day using the patches. Tomorrow they come off for good! I am excited about that. I have some nicotine gum just in case I need it. I have done it....10 weeks is huge!
