Hi daviscup & congratulations on 6 days. :)
Just like Lainey, I didn't tell my husband & it took him at least a week to realize that I wasn't smoking. I didn't tell him because deep down I was afraid of failure & didn't want to hear him badger me about smoking....slaps forehead...people do dumb things eh? He was a little miffed that I didn't tell him & it turns out that he isn't the nagger that I thought he would be but he is very supportive & understanding. Talk to your Mum & I'll bet she will be so happy for you & just maybe she's ready to quit too.
I'm using the patch & haven't gone through any moodiness yet but once a month I do suffer from pms...it's kind of the same thing. I know it is going to happen but I can't do anything to prevent it. The moodiness from quitting is going to happen but just like pms, it will only last a little while....strange comparison, I know
CRAVE THE QUIT :)

Just popping in to say Hi & see what's up.
May 2-4 weekend started out great but it rained last night. It's muggy & gloomy outside. My son went camping with friends...sleeping in a tent, on the ground....dirt & bugs LOL I wonder if he lasted the whole night or if he slept in the car?

Good morning everyone. I have been dreaming lately that I am back in school :8o: & writing exams. Last nights dream, I was set up to fail the exam.....Now I love to analyze everything but this has me confused. I'm thinking that these dreams are related to my quit but here's what I don't understand. I do NOT feel that anyone in my life is trying to sabotage my effort, everyone around me is super supportive (even my friends that smoke). Also I do not feel like this is a test. This is life, the way it is!!! I do not smoke & never will again. Failure is not an option.
Or it could just be the patches LOL
Thank you Ash kickers for helping me board the ship. You ALL provide me with such great inspiration & I'm glad we get to go on this journey together. :)
Enjoy your day!

Good morning, we have another smog alert here in southern Ontario...& it's only May. :( It's suppose to hit a high of 32C today. I really hope it rains.
Shakes, how's the throat? I work at a hospital too & what LouP says is true...& I don't think it's the same hospital ;p We are allowed to call in UP TO 3 days a year, after that we're flagged & the interrogations (ahem, meetings) start. Some people show up so sick because they are afraid to call in.
I've got your life vest ready. Jean has hers on & she looks lovely...she can't move but she looks fab ;p Shakes, we are saving you a spot on the SS Minnow.
LouP, Congratulations to you on 5 weeks! Awesome job! That must be a huge fire if you call smell it across the state. Stay inside where the air quality is better.
Jean, 50 DAYS!!! Way to go!!! What kind of reward do you have planned for today?
Have a great day everyone
