4 1/2 days to go

Hi jdk i gave up over 5weeks ago and have gone cold turkey,i realy didnt think i could of got this far without the help and support of this lovely community we have here. I look at it that i have passed week one and before i know it i am just passed week 5 that is what keeps me going one week turns in to another and before you know it the weeks are flying past, you just have to get passed your first week jkd you can do it. You said you live in portsmouth i was there the first week when i quit and i walked along the sea front at southsea and blew the demon weed away maybe you could do the same good luck in your quit :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/3/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 38 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 765 Amount Saved: 193.8 Life Gained: Days: 3 Hrs: 10 Mins: 53 Seconds: 53

4 1/2 days to go

hi again no pompey didnt have to much of an affect on my hell week lol, i have been going down there since i was a child and now take my own kids down there they love the amusments and funfair, but like i said in my earlier post it is good for blowing away cobwebs and clearing your thoughts especially when that hovercraft comes in lol. On another positive note can i say that in the last 5 weeks my whole way of thinking has changed and with this nice weather we have been haveing i have wanted to get out more so we went out to the new forest and played footy ,rounders ,frizbee, ect and it realy does take your mind of smokeing but the best bit is being able to breath in the fresh air and being able to run without being breathless. I think if you have a good circle of friends with some trying to quit as well you all have to make changes to your routine, i did and it has been working for me i can go in to a pub and be proud that im not smokeing or scanning around restaurants looking to see where i could smoke. good luck in your quit :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/3/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 38 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 766 Amount Saved: 193.8 Life Gained: Days: 3 Hrs: 10 Mins: 58 Seconds: 20
