looking for some good green tea

17 years ago 0 13 logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo 0
Usually the herbal type teas are geared toward relieving stress. Green tea is widely used for it's antioxidant properties. But if you find one with Chamomille, that would be almost like killing 2 birds with 1 stone. Get the antioxidants and the relaxation at the same time. You can usually find the really FRESH teas at Whole Foods Markets. That is the tea you want, not the stuff you find prepackaged in the stores. You don't know how old they are and they are usually bitter. Hope this helps and hope Everyone has a great day. I haven't tried any of the green teas except Tetley (but to tell you the truth I wouldn't know what a good green tea was supposed to taste like) I make a pot of decaf green tea at night. Monica - I think green tea is supposed to be good for detoxifying and for the metabolism. I think chamomile is relaxing....It might be worth taking a trip to the Health food store just to get the information (although I think the info is on the side of the boxes at the supermarket too) Windy My Milage: My Quit Date: 9/11/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 199 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 3,997 Amount Saved: $995 Life Gained: Days: 19 Hrs: 11 Mins: 11 Seconds: 47

I've considered getting green tea... Could someone please list the good stuff green tea does for a body? Jan I saw all the combo's that Tetley Tea has on the shelves but unsure if I should purchase it. One quick question -- anyone aware of other tea's geared towards relieving stress? Paul, Tetley's make pure green tea as well. They also have green tea with chamomile, green tea with mint, and maybe a few other flavours I've missed.
