Day 8

Last Puff, congratulations from a fellow 8 day quitter or should I say "stopper" as Phil points out :). It is geting better every day isn't it ? While there are craves they are manageable and they serve to remind us to be on guard and stay strong every minute of the day. Good Luck PRB My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/12/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 8 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 251 Amount Saved: $36 Life Gained: Days: 1 Hrs: 15 Mins: 13 Seconds: 56

Newbie

Tigger I am also using chantix. It has been very helpful. Everybody responds differently to these things but I would say my craves have been less thatn half of what they were thru the first 10 days of my quit compared to previous attempts. It is expensive but when compared to the cost of buying cigs and the ultimate cost of smoking it is pretty easy to rationalize. The prescription I have started at half doses for a week before I stopped smoking then a full dose from that point on. It is a 12 week prescription. Whether you decide to get the Chantix or not hang on to your quit. You are 3 days in so don't lose that. You have the 3 hardest days behind you.
