Monica I am a relative newcomer to this site. I just read through your post and all the responses. You obviously have a lot of support and friends on this site and I don't think that there is anythng I could say that they haven't said.
With the challenges you have faced for a long period of time I know you must tired. However, to deal with what you have dealt with for as long as you have, you must also posess an inner strength that most of us couldn't muster under the same conditions. I urge you to trust this strength and hang on to it. It will get you through your quit and more importantly through those other difficulties you have to deal with day to day. Have faith in yourself, you are stronger than you may think.

Great job keeping your quit going while facing surgery. Hope your pain diminishes soon or the drugs kick in at least ! Hang in there.

Angela one thing that has helped me is taking a soda straw, cutting it into about 3 "cig size pieces" and then chewing on it when I get one of those of triggers. It helps with the oral fixation as well as something to do with your hands by fooling with it. Sounds kind of dumb but it has helped. I am not doing it much anymore but I still keep it handy.
Also it has no calories :)

That is fantastic and gives me a great deal of inspiration. While I am being careful to take this a day at a time and look to far ahead I look forward to being able to say the same thing in a short 393 days :)
Thanks for the Inspiration.
