Thank you. I can't believe it's 100 days already. Dang, and I'm down with a cold today. Though it's the first time I've had a cold without smoking. I'm betting that THIS time it won't drop into my chest a become bronchitis like usual. Runny nose or not, I'm going over to the beach!!!!
Congrats to Carlos and Robyn too!! Hey guys, we're 100!!!!!!!!

Newbker, you want to quit and leave this nasty, life-threatening habit behind. It's obvious, otherwise you would have disappeared from SSC long ago. You've been dealt some REALLY crappy cards in the past few months. If I had been in your shoes, I probably would have done the same thing without a doubt. But Duffis is right. Smokes aren't the cause of all the crap. They're just a crutch to lean on....and only the fantasy of a crutch at that. You've had the mother of all unwanted goodbyes to deal with...and made it through. Now kiss those cigs you don't even want anymore goodbye. We're all behind you!

no, no....been nekkid from day 1. You can either pull a bandaid off in a series of painful yanks, or one big excruciating rip. I'm an excruciating rip gal.

From my quit in mid October to mid January, I became a big, fat cow. I gained nearly 20 pounds onto my already overburdened frame. UGH! About mid January I felt comfortable enough in my quit to take on the weight monster and found a website that has been as helpful in taking off the pounds as SSC was in getting rid of the nasty cancer sticks. Since mid January, I've gotten rid of nearly 14 pounds...and in a VERY healthy fashion as well. My goal is to get rid of 50 pounds by the end of the summer, and so far I'm right on track.
Whoo hoo.....just wait until the end of summer when I'm slim, trim and SO TOTALLY a non-smoker! *G*
