Hello, new member here.

Hi Aerrin! Welcome to the site. It's a great place to quit. Quitting cigarettes is hard, but you can do this, just like so many others here. Just keep coming back to read and post, read and post. Live here if that's what it takes to stay smoke-free! I know that I could not have done it without all of the quitter's here. Hopefully you'll find it as helpful as I have! All of the best to you, gpw My Milage: My Quit Date: 1/14/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 68 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 1,028 Amount Saved: $272 Life Gained: Days: 6 Hrs: 8 Mins: 18 Seconds: 31

Ditto - it does get easier. If it didn't there wouldn't be any "old-timers", we wouldn't see any impressive Quit Meters! Live here at this site, drink LOTS of water (helps much with cravings), surf the net looking for all of the anti-cigarette sites you can find and read them. You may find that after reading you'll never, ever want one of those nasty things again. This is pretty much what I did. Give it a try, mold it to your own preferences and remember that when you have a craving that it is NOT YOU who wants the cigarette, it is your addiction. Choose NOT TO FEED IT. Keep ignoring it and YOU WILL GET STRONGER. Glad you're here, keep coming back! gpw My Milage: My Quit Date: 1/14/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 68 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 1,029 Amount Saved: $272 Life Gained: Days: 6 Hrs: 8 Mins: 19 Seconds: 48

Ash Kickers, Come Strut Your Stuff!!!!

I've been having so much fun going to all of those places I could never go (and have fun) as a smoker: Like.... ....astronomy meetings ....museums ....church functions ....shopping malls ....childrens' activities so I haven't been checking in on Mondays. BUT I'm still here and loving almost every minute of it! Anyone take an Ash Kicker count lately? gpw My Milage: My Quit Date: 1/14/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 68 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 1,029 Amount Saved: $272 Life Gained: Days: 6 Hrs: 8 Mins: 21 Seconds: 2
