9 days smoke free! Ready to give in

Are you still here, Misty? I am at 9 days today; it is getting easier every day, maybe by nanoseconds, but still easier. How are you doing?

Another way to look at cravings

Hi Working on it,

I am on day 9, around 7 hours to finish the day smober, as some say. Some days are easier than others, and this day has been relatively easy. I do think you are on to something with the constant crave when we were indulging our addiction. Sometimes the crave was enough I would smoke two cigs and then want another. Imagine going 9 days when I didn't think I could go an hour. Nice imagery you have going on there, it does help to think of it as you said, "they may seem real but they are not".  Thank you for posting,

Five Years Tomorrow No Smokes

Wow, nice of you to keep on inspiring people to keep their quits. You have obviously been quite a role model for many. Congrats on 5 years, that's unimaginable. What's your reward?

I need to try this one more time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Sharon! Glad you're still on this ride. It is sometimes amazing how much time we used to spend thinking about & doing the addiction but we have made the best decision this time! Hang in there, we'll make it if we just keep saying no I'm not going to smoke whatever happens! Denise

11/12/13 Quit = almost 5 days

I am celebrating day 27 of no smoking. I can't get here much, I'm working two jobs and the holidays, but I am not smoking. Good thing, too, it's incredibly cold and windy outside; glad I don't go out there any more. Thank you for asking.
