    Cigarettes Not Smoked

Well, today is the day. My herbal patches came in last night and I smoked my last cigarette before I went to bed. I put my first patch on this morning. Wasn't sure where to place it so I stuck in on my butt. It's a little itchy so I've been scratching my bumm a lot! Lol, I'm just kidding. I put the patch on my inner arm. I don't even notice it there. I was kinda worried it might me uncomfortable, but it is not. So far, I haven't really had any cravings. I thought my drive to work would be really difficult because I always smoke at least three cigs during that drive, but it was not very difficult at all. I already feel better from not smoking. I keep my mouth busy with gum and straws. I just hope nobody gets the wrong idea about the straw. I don't want anyone thinking I'm snorting that marijuana stuff. Anyway, I'll keep everyone posted my progress. Hey everyone!! Thanks again for the support!! Today is day four. I made it through the weekend with no problems at all. It feels so good to be off the cigs. I haven't been having any cravings. I'm wondering if it's because of my herbal patch or if it's because I was so ready to quit. I have been chewing alot gum...I mean alot. I think I'm becoming addicted to gum now. Much power and love to my fellow quitters. Day five is here!! Whoo hoo!! Other than the dizziness, "space case" feeling, and gas, all is going well. Well, I've finally made up my mind to get rid of this filthy addiction once and for all. I don't think I have ever been so ready to quit. There are a number of reason but most importantly for my health. I ordered a patch system which should be here in a few days. I anticipate 3/6/2007 to be my quit day - depending on when my patches come in. I'm glad to have found this forum and hope it can be helpful, and later perhaps I can support other potential quiters.
