Hey Scrawn-E -- welcome! I'm scrawny too, or at least I was before I quit. (!!) Started working out to work through the craves, and suddenly I can jump higher and run faster. (Me and my Keds.) Now we like to think of ourselves as "lithe," or when we're feeling a little more aggressive, "lean and mean." Prepare to say goodbye to your scrawnines along with all the other nasty things that will no longer be part of your life come March 9. You're a lot braver than I am; I would never quit on a Friday... I figured that's why God invented Mondays. Lookiong forward to hearing more from you in the coming days and weeks --- peteg My Milage: My Quit Date: 10/30/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 126 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 6,321 Amount Saved: $693 Life Gained: Days: 23 Hrs: 2 Mins: 11 Seconds: 19

YIPPY!!! Keep it up Scrawn-E - You're doing great! I'm also chewing sooo much sugarless gum. But that's okay for now! Putting out the smokes is one of the wisest moves that you will ever make. This is the place that can help you to get that done. Once you have your plan in place and have done the program on the left side of this screen, your chances will skyrocket for success. Plan on being here alot in thoses early days, you will be making alot of new friends and they will be counting on your support when they run low, just as you will count on them when you run low. Don't be afraid to be real, or silly, and enjoy your experience. The journey is just beginning and you can help each other through. Good Luck, Cheryl My Milage: My Quit Date: 7/4/2005 Smoke-Free Days: 606 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 14,558 Amount Saved: $1727.1 Life Gained: Days: 82 Hrs: 11 Mins: 57 Seconds: 55

[Hi Brad Glad I read you're post. Using patches worked for me. Then I slipped up a few times, that was dumb. Just smoked my last cig and I'm putting on my patch and going to bed and ta hell with this smokin. It's just a bad deal all around!! I wish you luck in you're quit. Patches really do help, I quit for 3 mo. last time and if it kills me this will be the last time, this time. The first week is one day at a time then it gets easier after that. Lots a luck..... dasiegrlsize=4]TextTextText My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/10/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 0 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 0 Amount Saved: $0 Life Gained: Days: 0 Hrs: 0 Mins: 0 Seconds: 0
