Hello Jax and welcome to the SSC. Would you believe that I had a lung infection over Christmas and new Year's but I still managed to smoke a carton of cigarettes over the two months of antibiotics courses?? Only after my lungs were back to normal did I notice that I was completely breathless and damn near blue in the face when I tried to do the smallest amount of work around the house!! That's when I came in here and pledged to quit cigarettes ... and I did so on the 18th January and with Champix and this site I've been able to keep my quit with only a little bit of irritability - okay,,, a lot of irritability!
