I can only say that seeing each and everyone of you.......Long-timers and Newbies........has kept me Quit. Seeing and hearing the resolve in all your Quits just reinforces mine everyday. I would not be here without all of you.
I owe you.......BIG time.
Cause I LIKE being where I am now............
We each make this journey on our own, in our own families, our own jobs, our own relationships and we each do it our own way, with Gum, patches, cold turkey whatever it takes. We help someone in a post, then come to get help in a post. We know that we'll never be judged, only welcomed with open arms. Quite a place this SSC is. Quite a family we have become. Open and waiting for the next one that starts the journey and we do it all over again. I'm proud to be part of it.
Thank you for having me.
Keeping the Quit
huggggggggggs and coooooookies

Excellent Marivi, your commitment to others is inspiring. You were the first person to respond to my post when I was feeling really bad, and I thank you for it.
Bob way to go- you also are one of the reasons I am still here and still a quitter.
You both set a fine example of helping others by helping yourselves.

Thank you guys for everything.
I'm sure you know I wouldn't be here without you! You have kept me smober and ready to defend my quit. Last weekend I received a major attack from Nick, but I just remember you and I said: I can;t fail them. I should say NOPE.I will FAKE IT UNTIL I MAKE IT. So I pretended I was a nonsmoker who hates smoking and finds no pleasure at all in cigarrettes! It worked. Thank you to all of you!!! You are my mentors and my inspiration! Marivi

Hi Faryal
OOOps! I already celebrated my fourth months smoke free.
I spent four days at the beach house of one of my friends in Acapulco. She hired a girl from a Spa and we had massages, facials, manicures and pedicures. We were 7 girls. 3 of them smokers. Yikes! But I survived the beach trigger! I'm so proud of myself!! The nicodemon attacked me but I defeated it!! Now, I can enjoy the beach and the pool without a smoke!
Marivi
Thank you for everything!!!!
