Duffis Thank You so very much. Thank You to all who have responded and all who have been along on this quitting journey. Today is special and is really overshadowed by my birthday last week. The 50th birthday was the real goal and the trip to the wild wild west to visit my Mom with me smoke free was a hug reward. I love to celebrate and even though I am full of flu I will celebrate right here and right now. One more day, one more week, one more month. I know I am no longer doing this a minute or five at a time and I am very grateful for that. I am finally feeling less stress at this whole quit thing. Not to say I am letting my guard down and I just feel better about quitting. I am also getting some of my ability to breath, I can take fuller breaths and have more endurance. This shows up in the pool while swimming and while I am walking. Not that walking the dog is very energetic anymore, the wonderful little critter is just about 16 and she is getting slower and slower. MMMMMM Thanks Again it is so very reassuring to have such great quitters along on the journey. You are each and every one of you a wonderful inspiration and a great source of encouragment. I wish for each of you that you find your way through to freedom and that you each move through this journey into the land of quit in as peaceful and joyous a manner possible. So no matter if you are just starting out or if you have been quit for years and years I wish you peace and joy and that the world free of nicotine and smoke is good to you. It has been great to me as I claim my life back. I am glad that I can claim my life from the clutches of addiction and surrender the remainder of my health to the wisdom and care of the universe. 8 months is wonderful and 50 looks great on me. Now for pie. See yah! Phillip :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 2/17/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 242 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 6,073 Amount Saved: $1936 Life Gained: Days: 39 Hrs: 14 Mins: 6 Seconds: 50

Congratulations, Phillip. 2/3 of a year! How awesome is that? :) You went through some rough times, but I knew you were one that would make it regardless. Keep up the awesome quit, my friend.
