Hi Nyoi4fib,

I encourage you to talk to your doctor or pharmacist regarding this question.

Also, read Session 3 as it discusses NRTs.  NRTs work by regularly administering small amounts of Nicotine to your system.  By getting regular amount of Nicotine the withdrawal symptoms you experience may be lessoned so you can focus on the breaking the behavioural component of the addiction.

I was wondering what kind of withdrawal symptoms people have experienced using NRTs. I am currently on the patch and wondering what to look forward to using this. I have searched the internet and no one shares their experience using these. I understand that they help with cravings but do they subside any other symptoms like weight gain, or upset tummies, etc.

Thanks for all responses.
