Hi guys! Thanks to everyone for their excellent advise.
So....I did end up going out with our friends, I had a few drinks and didn't smoke the entire night! I'm not saying that it was not hard, but my friends and husband really supported me. I knew the cravings would go away after 10 or 15 minutes, so I waited them out.
I reminded myself that I still wake up every morning and want my coffee and cigarette, and I've defeated the urges every morning thus far. So, last night I tried to think of alcohol the same as my daily dose of coffee. I don't need to smoke with either, and it worked!
Missions Accomplished!!!!!
