Woman thing again

Haven't done that yet but I am THINKING more about my appearance... (haven't been awake long enough yet to do much) but I think it's a great idea! I'm going to the gym today... I'll be 44 this year and it seems like a really good time to start taking even better care of myself... Besides, I have a really hot boyfriend and want to feel as young as he looks. :) This no smoking thing has been great for my outlook! I have been putting forth more effort in my appearance too! I think it is because #1 - we have more time since we are not smoking, and #2 - we feel so much better on the inside, why not show it off on the outside. I think that my skin looks alot better now, no more bags under my eyes. I think that I don't look "tired" anymore. Has anyone else noticed that? Hey Karen, It's funny you noticed this. I noticed the same thing. I do think it is because we like or love ourselves much more than we did while we were slowly killing ourselves. I feel like I don't look tired anymore, and I don't feel as tired. I don't want an afternoon nap anymore! I feel bright-eyed again, so I am better able to wink at all the handsome men in SSC. ;p It's also because we smell better anyway, and our skin is softer... did you notice that? Now, to talk about the men, since they aren't supposed to be reading this thread... you know they read all of them.. probably even more so when the topic is "woman thing"... I'm proud of Phil for actually posting in this one! :p My Milage: My Quit Date: 12/31/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 33 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 335 Amount Saved: $63.69 Life Gained: Days: 3 Hrs: 21 Mins: 32 Seconds: 51
