Thanks nonic, For your support and that of everyone on this site. Your generous help has been appreciated. I am on this journey and thanks to everyone here I'm not just talking the talk, I'm now walking the walk. It's just delicious to be this free and to be able to stop and actually smell the flowers whenever I want. Hope to see you all on the journey. First stop, the beach people! N.O.P.E. N.I.D.S. (thanks for this one Rainie---Nope, I don't smoke) Pat Yipppeeeee.......I'm smoke free My Milage: My Quit Date: 1/28/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 5 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 210 Amount Saved: $70 Life Gained: Days: 0 Hrs: 14 Mins: 49 Seconds: 14

You go for it...I know you have thought about this, planned it and now you are going to set it in stone...Stay well on the journey, there are many people here who want you to succeed, but you really only need one...That would be your own good self... Start walking and don't look back, everything is in front of you in any case... nonic

That's fantastic to hear Ladycigevictor that you're having a great first day!! :) You're using Chantix, right? I imagine that between the Chantix and all your preparation that your quit won't be as difficult as it could be had you not done your homework! I know that I was really excited during the first few days into my quit and I still am, despite some lingering psychological cravings. I've read many of your posts and I can't help but be excited for you 'cause I think you're going to do very well!! Glad to hear that you're doing great!! Keep us posted, ok? :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 12/23/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 36 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 1,473 Amount Saved: $175.32 Life Gained: Days: 3 Hrs: 16 Mins: 26 Seconds: 56

Ladycigevictor, This isn't uncommon. Many quitters who cut back on their smoking find their first day easier. This doesn't mean you'll never have cravings but it also doesn't mean tommorrow will be horrible. Just take them as they come and enjoy this peaceful time in your quit. You are well prepared and have nothing to fear. If you need reinforcements, you know where to find us ;) Danielle ______________________ The SSC Support Team
