This week i'm hoping to do my bus practice. I want to go out, i'm starting to get bored around here, I think its a good thing. I'll take the bus to the library, its not very far, and then i'll wait an hour and take it home, so it'll be two rides, and good practice...i'll keep you posted. i'll be thinking of you all here. I got to physcologist but I actually find you guys more helpful to me. :)
Well done you two . Buses were my lifeline as my husband or myself drive . I used to bus everywhere but havnt since January . So i too will be soon putting this on my exposure list soon and hopefully will be getting there like you too .
minnesota, firstly, good on you for riding the light rail! i certainly understand about being prepared. just remember that you will get through it and will be able to do it - and that's what i keep telling myself too!
my ultimate goal is to catch the bus home - a three and a half hour trip. at the moment i am able to do one 15 minute trip, get off at the interchange to change buses and then another 15 minute trip. i will get there.. slowly but surely.. sometimes i think i'll never get there and get frustrated, but then if i look back i think of not even being able to go to the bus stop without having a panic attack.
HI Georgie great job on 4 bus rides, I caught the bus since with a friend, we went exploring to a garden center, then she said "lets go to the park" I hadnt planned it (you know how we anxiety people like to plan) and I said "ok", there was the most beautiful waterfall. We stopped and ate something. My friend asked if i was up to walking down a million stairs( it felt like a million) to the bottom of the waterfall. I was a bit dizzy, and she asked if I was ok, and I said "yes", went all the way to the bottom then up again to the top, I was stiff for 2 days!!!.
Anyway, the point of the story was, that I havent taken the bus this far in ages, even with a friend, on the highway, and we had to ride a light rail for a bit, which I hadnt expected, and I had a great time.!!!
I havent been out much by myself tho, my hubby keeps saying get the bus, but I keep hesitating, but I will think of you and hopefully will get myself through it!!
