It is very important to try to help ourselves. This is something that no one can do for us...we have to make up our mind..and do it. This is the first Giant Step. The #1 is to call your doctor to get some help for the immediate things at hand. The #2 step is to find some information, whether it be books, Internet, workbooks, thsi site, etc. #3 Take the Anxiety Test. This will help your doctor with diagnosis, and save a lot of time in your treatment..and the planning thereof. Once you have an appt,#4Take the time to read the valuable info at this site. The Administrators have put in a lot of time to provide us with some very good infor and that fabulous test..let's show them wse appreciate it, by using this site as one of our tools. #5 you can do a search on the computer and look for site on the topics of Anxiety, Panic Disorder, Post-traumatic Stress Disorder, Phobias, Fear, Stress, etc. believe it or not...these can all be done in the same time frame. To me..this is the first Giant Step. I an speaking from experience..and I only wish that this site, and the Internet wasavailable to me many years ago..when I was a child growing up. Did you know that some of these disorders can be inherited? Red PS You are not alone..
