Hints and Tricks to keep anxiety at bay

20 years ago 0 17 logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo 0
Hi everyone, I was just wondering if there were any tips or tricks that you do to keep the depression and panic/anxiety attacks away. Here's some things that I myself do to help keep the demons at bay: - flash cards of sayings, (i.e., you control how you feel, give yourself credit for what you do, nobody's perfect, etc...) that i go through every so often while i'm in the bathroom, getting ready for sleep, or have some free time. I have about 60 of these cards and i go through about 15-20 at a time. - a little laminated luggage tag that i keep in my wallet with some of the most important sayings/mantras. these are then accessible to me whenever i'm feeling a little down or my anxiety is increasing. I've even drawn a picture (i'm an artist) on it to in order to make it more appeasing. - if anyone would like a copy of it i can send you a copy (it's on a power point slide) - i also keep some books handy to read now and then. because i'm only human and tend to forget some of the excellent advice I've read. Look forward to hearing from you!
