Gina, I really dont know how we get them to understand because to them, they are looking from the outside and what they see is FINE. OKAY. Whats the problem??!!
They do not live in that dark little crack corner we get ourselves into. I WISH I could see and feel through my husbands eyes that all is OKAY!!!! Without actually taking them to counseling with you, and having a doctor explain what you are going through, I do not know they will ever understand.
It must be so hard for you. I am lucky because my husband is very supportive of me, as my family is too. I don't know what I would do without them. I really feel for you since you don't have it. Maybe anger is how your husband deals with the stress. We panic, maybe he gets angry. He could be scared too. Men deal with things in a strange way! Tell him it is so hard for you to get better without his support. Would he agree to go to therapy with you maybe? Get him a book about it or show him a website. Good luck.
