Feeling a bit overloaded...

Hi Bren,

I am sorry to hear about your family. I will keep them in my thoughts.

This sounds like a very difficult situation. Remember it is normal and healthy to feel negative emotions and unfortunately when it comes to health of loved ones the worry and hurt can be the worst.  Try to make time to relax. Practice relaxation techniques and stay as positive as you can. You may want to use some of the worry stopping techniques in the worry Axillary session.

Curious Bren, you are always so good at giving support and advice to others. What advice would you give to a friend who was going through the same situation?

I kind of understand what you are going through. I feel as though when it rains it pours, so many things happen at once.
I find coming here knowing other people understand helps. I also find distracting myself helps too, maybe doing a craft or something.

You aren't alone. I hope that helps a bit.

I feel a bit overloaded, because of some stress at this time,my sister,is being tested to see if she may have thyroid cancer, she is hyperthyroid right now,and she has lost so much weight, and hair..she has also been laid off from her job, this week, also,my oldest son will be going through a liver biopsy in a week or two for several cyst in his liver...i know this is really out of my hands,as i can not do anything to change any of the outcome of this, but still,i am concerned for them both,at this time all i can do,is pray for the best for them both,it just brings sadness to my heart.....how do i get past this feeling of overload???
