Hi everyone,

Great discussion.

A question I have is how do you know when you need to pace yourself? What can you do to remind yourself?

Hi Bren:  I feel the anxiety too when I am overtired.  It quickly goes away though if I lie down and do some breathing ex. and think positive thoughts.  I pace myself too.  I don't have the same strength anymore and it can be so annoying when you want to get something done, but then I remind myself, easy does it, and what's the rush.  I try and take time to relax in between and it seems to work.

Bren,
When we were young(how I miss it) we were capable of so much -remember?

It's just aging - but that's okay - there are a lot of us out there with you - and everyone goes the route, don't they -it's okay

Bren,
I think I went through a similar thing yesterday and today(I don't learn as fast as you).

Yesterday, I started pulling some old wiring from the basement, so I could let mom do some laundry, since she likes to take care of her personal clothing.  After 90 minutes, I was wiped out.

Today I walked for a couple of hours at an exposition in town, and I feel wiped out too.

I found I was really cranky.  Maybe we need to pace ourselves?

It's like Paul McCartney & Wings song "Don't get too tired for love...".

Of course, I don't have a hubby like you.  And I wished I'd have shaven before I went out too

My sister and i went shopping, and she loves to shop all day long..well,iam older, and after hours,i feel tired and my feet hurt,so when i came home,i was very anxious,i thought it was from not eating enough for lunch..so i fixed supper and ate,,took a warm shower, then took a xanax,to help..but was also feeling that ol tingling feeling i get,and fear was trying to rais its head too..so i set bake in my safe zone,my recliner, and had a talk with self...took in some deep breathing, and now i am feeling much  better..so...does being over tired have anything to do with bringing on aniexty???
My sister is a lot younger than me,but i do try to keep up..as best i can...am i pushing myself to hard?
Am i expecting to much from myself?
What do you think?
Bren
