I tried a different spin on the sheppard's pie today.  Instead of potoatoes, I added broccoli and cauliflower, and found a product like "tater tots".

I won't mention the brand, but it has a smiling face, and I suppose I thought I'd add something positive to my life.

These little potatoe products can be sprinkled on top of a casserole, and cook in 20 minutes, and why not get a smile from your food?

However, I sprinkled mozzarella cheese on top, but they're still smiling through

Hi museluver,

After reading your post it is hard to believe you ever felt like saying goodbye to the world!
I'm thrilled to hear you have achieved so much.  It's sometimes difficult to recognize progress.

As for help with healthy eating, we have a sister-site called Healthy Weight Center.  It is also filled with great information and tools to help you set healthy eating goals.

Hope to see you on both forums

Hi sunny your elk sounds wonderful have you ever tried wild boar? I only eat white meat now but tried wild boar twice it was so succulent, tasty & lean.
I don't know if anyone else does this but I have in my mind pictures of all of my friends & on here & where they live & Sunny your home sounds like a wonderful woodland dell, somewhere I would feel very comfortable.

Bren you sound a lot more positive & I'm so happy to hear about your French cooking, I have never tried it. I have no-one to cook for now I live alone & don't bother for myself, but I must say the sound of Davit & Sunny's fresh  bread rolls have my mouth watering. The smell of fresh bread, always makes me smile, as does fresh cut grass or rain on a warm sidewalk. Anyone else have favorite smells that make them smile?

I'm happy to report I finally got my therapist appointment through, it only took 5 months!! I called and told my therapist I had achieved so much with the help of panic center & that I don't need the intense therapy I did when I self referred all those months ago.

Vincenza, Ashley, Josie & Samantha can you guide me into the correct type of therapy I need for an eating disorder? Do you have a sister site for this?
Finally I am ecstatic to report that my relationship is back in a healthy state, I realized I was putting pressure on him to make a commitment to me as I was terrified of losing him as I had every other man I have ever loved. Once I got my mind healthy & realized I don't need a ring & piece of paper to prove our love I relaxed we had a very long discussion, realized we didn't like being apart & the idea of a life without each other was inconceivable.

If it hadn't been for the guidance & support of my friends on here I couldn't have gotten through the past 5 months, I was ready to say goodbye to the world, now I can't wait to embrace my life with open arms.
Thank you everyone

Hugs, cute,    Bren and Hugs;  I didn't have to do anything special to the elk meat.  It was very tender.  I don't know much about deer meat but was told that elk is not as gamey tasting and does taste more like beef.  I haven't noticed any strong taste but have noticed how lean it is and the colour is a richer darker red.  I even made my tourtiere this season with the elk mixed with pork.  It didn't turn out as moist so next time would add a bit more moisture or fat.

Eggs Benedict - that's it, I'm coming for breakfast or brunch too!

Davit and I are planning to bake French bread for the summer Farmer's Market.  There is a lady who bakes breads already, but no French baguettes or crusty rolls.  I want to sell Davt's woodworking too and maybe some of my toad houses and candle lanterns.  I've met a potter who was very friendly and said she'd be willing to teach me more.  Her work is beautiful and sells at the local museum/gift shop.

Sonia,
It takes a little to get going, but laws of physics state that momentum works just the same way inertia does...once it's in motion...it keeps going and going...

Oh boy, sounds delicious, both of you!  Can I come for dinner?

I learned how to cook elk meat this season.  Never had it before.  Very good.  I used it in a few recipes which asked for beef.  It is a very lean meat.

Hey Bren,

I cooked eggplant parmigiana and on the SAME day cooked a panettone bread pudding.  The second is a shortbread, popular at easter & christmas.

My back is a bit sore, but a little stretching makes the body feel good.
