Hi anerol, Thanks for asking...The walk went good this morning..I had to slow down a little and didn't go as far today..
Even so I really did enjoy the walk...I think you are right, we are getting better at challenging the perfectionism..
 
Kind of like the quote ~m posted..."Let what ever you do today...be enough"....I sure like that quote..
Thanks for putting it up ~m for us to read....
 
I think it is wonderful how we can all share here on the site and help each other..

Hi Red, how was your walk today. I remember a quote that went something like, there's never a failure in trying or somethign? sorry if I really messed that up but my point is that, I've been reminding myself with that quote that even if my expectations are not followed through, there is always something there new to learn about. It's hard to convince sometimes due to my perfectionism as well. But I think we're doing good at challenging that.

I have been working on a goal in various steps..So really it is a combination of goals...I started a exercise program. I have been walking in the morning about 4 days a week..The original goal was to get out of the house, get some exposure, exercise my heart and possible loose some weight..There are many steps involved in this goal..Getting dressed, getting out the door and sticking to it..
There have been some setbacks. I did get sunburned which I am now getting over, I also twisted my ankle a couple of days ago and it is finally feeling better this morning..and the heat and humidity has been a problem here where I live...
Davit mentioned something about perfection lately and positivity that got me to thinking about my situation. I have realized that things don't always go perfectly or as planned and that is ok..and that I need to look at the positives in the situation..There will be setbacks and that is to be expected in life..but the main thing is to get out there and do your best and get back up on that horse again everyday...do what you can and stick with it....Sticking with it and not giving up is really the main goal....
 
Well I am going to get dressed now, get out the door, and go for that walk again today....while it is still cool. I do enjoy the walks....
