Hello Ashley..
This will help me learn to feel safe with myself, and become more independent on me too..
This way,i can learn a new hobby,do some shopping on my own without the fear..
I think most of all...confidence in myself!

Bren,
About visiting your hubs on the bus - you needn't actually fill a "role"...just be there, without a schedule or commitment...

I like your positive attitude on this change Bren!

It sounds like you already have a great start to your new routine.  What do you want to get out of this new routine? How will you use this time to grow?

I so agree HUGS!
It will be ok..yes,i guess i could be a monitor on the bus,but...all those kids acting up and all, might be a little much for me!
Now,my hubs has more patience than i do!
But,i do agree about other things i can do here..and iam still looking into something for myself...I agree about cell phones..they do keep us connected!
We both have them, and yes,he will call me when he gets time...
Going to do some resurch today at the library...

Hi Bren,
It's great to hear from you.
A  lot of people are separated but we develop coping skills.  I wonder if it has to do with focus, or some people call it "distraction".
This morning you kept yourself "busy", so your focus won't be on your hubby.

Does he have a cellphone so you can talk occasionally during the day?  I think the growth in portable phones has to do with matching people's need to not be lonely - what do you think?

Maybe you can ride with him too, sometimes?  I think our separation is just time to prepare a surprise to show him/her what you did to add something to your collective live(s) which you can share - a new recipe, a kntted sweater, cleaner windows...simple things which still connect you both since "absence makes the heart grow fonder"....

Good morning everyone...
I am doing well, and not troubled by so much anxiety lately..
But, today is a new day for me as my husband started his new job today as a school bus driver!
He retired about 3 years ago,but due to the economy,i workd up until last year myself, was laid off due to cut backs,so this job is a blessing for us!
But now i have to learn how to be alone, and this will be a new step for me,as iam so used to him being here with me....
Also, the weather here has cooled down alot!
We even slept with our windows open, and that was so nice!!
Ive been for my walk, had breakfast, getting my day started...just an adjustment to my day!
Bren
