Thanks Davit..
I am working on the program...
I sometimes feel inside, like i want to start screeming,or running, or just getting very angry and hitting something ..
I guess thats normal?
I may give it a good try and see if it works!!!
I did get out today, went to the book store, didnt stay long,,just checking on a new book to read, may get it at the libray later.
I am trying new things and thoughts out today..so far  so good!

Brenda,

YES, congratulations. This is positive over negative and the basis of CBT. Now to expand your safe area from the chair out ward using the same relaxation and coping skills and over time the middle of the night episodes will go away. That is pretty much how I did it. And It surprised me the first time I told myself to stop doing it and go back to sleep.

My recliner is a Sears electronic and now the only time I sleep in it is If my legs are too sore to sleep in my bed. I have Arthritis so some times my legs are pretty bad.

Keep us posted we may have other tips to help out. You should still do the program to learn why and help expand that safe circle.
