Wow Red, that's great!! It's like you've taken your training wheels (safe object: cig) off and your are riding on your own. That takes a lot of struggle and I imagine a lot of struggle but you've did it and that is inspiring. Great job for you. You also did exposure!
I am glad to hear that you have rewarded yourself again with a nice play. It sounds like you really enjoyed the play, and you were able to have a good laugh. It is also great to hear that you are continuing to work on cutting out nicotine. Although this will put a few different twist on things, stay strong and focused on your goals.

I went to a play tonight as a reward. This is the second play I have been to. Tonight I went with exposure on my mind. This time I was going without nicotine and was very worried about how I was going to handle the anxiety of being in a public place
indoors with a lot of people. I was anxious at first in the car ride their and in the building after I got there. I had a couple of dizzy spells like I was going to faint. I don't know if it was anxiety or drug withdrawal. I steadied myself took a few deep breaths and went outside at intermission. Got a cup of coffee and a cookie sat down rested and went back into the play and I was ok again. I really enjoyed the play "Harvey" it was hilarious. Because I do not have my nicotine any more I am going to have to learn how to do everything in my life all over again. Their will be many triggers that can set off my anxiety/panic and craving. I am going to try to be patient with myself while I learn how to do this. I think this is going to make my exposure sessions a little harder. It is going to put a different twist on things thats for sure.
