"He's old; what do you expect?"

Its not a young/or old issue.  My gran is 93 and she lives in Toronto, she's great to hang out with, she is very independant and she rides the subway alone, and takes the bus alone.
She is in very physically great shape as she played a lot of sport when she was younger.
In fact she wrote a book and i'm currently typing it into Word on my computer.
When  I go to see my hubbys grandma, she is in a home and all the elderly people are sitting around depressed and sad, a lot of their families dont go visit them or dont have the time.
I think its important to support the elderly as they have a lot of history to tell.
I think I went completely off the subject..hehe

I have tons of example of happy, content, fun, older people. I totally agree that this is not a young/old issue!

"He's old; what do you expect?"

Fact: Healthy elderly people are not depressed and they are able to enjoy life fully." In truth, depression can affect any age, from the very young to the very old and everyone in between.
