Hiya Vanessa, sorry to hear you are having a rough time. wish I had words of wisdom for you but I agree that the best people to help you understand how you are feeling are people like your doctor. Please keep us posted of how you are doing and hang in there. Remember, this too shall pass! -Diva

Seamsew, We encourage you to call your doctor or therapist. Either should be able to give you a better idea of whether or not these side effects are common or whether you dose must be adjusted. Hoping you feel better soon. Danielle ___________________ The PC Support Team

Hey guys. So this is what is going on. I hope someone can give me some insight. Well I was on Effexor for two years and took myself the drug because I was feeling better. I had little to no anxiety and was really worried that the longer I was on it the worse the withdrawals would be. I forgot to take a pill one time and it was horrible.Plus I was really upset at my psychiatrist. I had lost trust in him because he was so unprofessional. He would answer his phone all the time when I was meeting with him. He would be on the phone all the time! So I finally go off of it and was so happy. I was free! Until two months later I had a panic attack. I should have seen this coming. I got a new doctor who I like who put me back on Effexor this past week. I was so happy cause I was going to get better again. I have been on it for two days now and have had horrible side effects. I don't want to eat. I feel jittery and hyper but at the same time have no energy. I am drained. My heart feels like its beating so fast. like palpitations i guess. My body is always warm. sometimes my hands get shaky which my doctor said could happen but would go away. I get irritated and nervous. It is like I am doped up or something. The first day I took it in the morning so I switched to night because that's when I took it the first time. But that didn't really help me. I really want to stick with it and get better cause It worked last time. But This didn't happen before. I am so confused. I don't want to have to go and try something new It is so scary. I just want to know if these side effects will go away. my plan is to wait a few more days and see If i feel better and if now call my doctor and see what she says. I just want to know if anyone has been through this or has words of wisdom. I am having a really hard time. also some of my family is coming to visit and I just don't feel like I have the energy. anyways thanks guys Vanessa
