Pet, Use it for general thoughts and feelings. Using it everyday will allow you to go back and pinpoint the areas to focus on and use those positive days to push forward :) Josie, Support Specialist

Lol thanks for clarifying on washing up. Also, I know How you feel, at first I felt so confused as to how to do the thought challenging. But it gets easier and less confusing. And worse case you can just come on here and ask for help :) have a nice day! -Diva

Thanks Danielle and Diva :) I feel a lot better knowing I'm on the right track. I should probably clarify by washing up I meant doing dishes - forgot that term has a different meaning in the US! Thanks again, Carla

Carla, That's great! Good job! Keep using the ten questions to help you fill out the form and try to have a mantra or short dialogue for next time you wash up. Ex: Next time I wash my hands I will say this to myself: Hint: It should be close to the alternative thoughts you filled out on your forms. Keep persevering! Hi, I just started week 3 a few days ago and have been trying to challenge my anxious thoughts on the forms but I'm not sure if I'm doing it right. For example yesterday I felt very anxious while washing up so my anxious thoughts were - Im going to faint, what if I faint, I feel light-headed, my legs are wobbly, this cant just be anxiety there must be something wrong with me, I cant do this, I want to get out of here for evidence for anxious thoughts I wrote - I feel light-headed and my legs feel wobbly as though I might faint, I rarely seem to be to wash up without feeling quite anxious for evidence against anxious thoughts I put - I have never fainted, I often feel light-headed when Im washing up but it always passes, I know that anxiety can make me feel very bad as though there is something very wrong with me but I felt ok before I started washing up so there probably isnt anything wrong with me, even though the anxiety feels really horrible I can carry on washing up and then for alternative thoughts I wrote - Even though I feel very anxious I know that I often feel this way while washing-up and I have never fainted and nothing bad has ever happened, I know that this is just anxiety because I felt okay before I started washing up, if I focus on what Im doing and think nice thoughts then I know the anxiety symptoms will pass, I can do this Does this sound alright or are there other things I should include? I haven't been answering each of the 10 questions given in session 3 but I have been using them to help me fill in the forms. Thanks for any help, Carla
