Welcome Bethany! Just as Diva mentionned, we have a great CBT program you can start working through. It is located in your session diary. If you don't know a lot about panic disorder, we also encourage you to take a look through our educational section on the left side of the screen. Lastly, be sure to take the time to read through our forums. There are many experiences out there you can learn from. If you have any questions, just ask. We are always here to help. Hiya bethany :) Welcome to the forums. Well as for advice i think that by getting the proper diagnosis and by going to psychotherapy you are definetely on the right track :) Also, this site is great! There is an anxiety test which can help yo and your doctor and osychotherapist to see where you are at right now. Plus, the CBT program on here is really great. It has really been helping me. And it doesn't interfere with my theraoy, Actually my therapist is in the loop for it and he says it is good :) anyway, i suggest you check out the program :) Also, just be good to yourself and patient with yourself. This will get better but it needs a bit of time :) HEre on the forums you will find that there are great people! it is really easy to get answers to questions, advice, a place to vent or to get support and encouragement. So anyway, welcome to the forums :) and remember, this too shall pass! -Diva

Hi Jo, You know something that's forgotten a lot is deep breathing. I've noticed since I have taken time out in the mornings and just sat and breathed deeply, it has helped a bit with the calming effect. People don't realize how shallow they usually breathe on a daily basis, especially if you have not been feeling well. Mouth breathing can cause a lot of problems such as dried out lips, scratchy throat, hoarseness etc., and anxiety can make it more pronounced. Stress and not feeling well are an awful combination. I know. My heart goes out to you. If you can, try the calming, DEEP, relaxing breaths. Get the oxygen pumping to those little cells and brain. Hope this helps a bit. I agree with Diva as well about having some fun. And remember, your poor body has just waged a major battle fighting off the ickies. Give yourself time to recouperate. It's normal. (lol sorry, I'm a mom. I always have advice about colds.) Good Luck! Arteest

Well, we all have periods where we are more tired. Plus you did have your blood sugar tested and it was fine. But hey, if it make you feel better you can always have it checked again. As for the tiredness, it could just be from being anxious all the time. Overthinking and being anxious is very very tiring imho. Anyway, i think you sould go out tonight and have some fun and hey if you start feeling to tired nothing is stopping you from going home early to rest. You had a cold lately too so that would definetely help make you more tired. So have fun, take it easy and be good to yourself that is what i think. Anyway, hang in there. This too shall pass! -Diva
