Well fortunately I used an excuse that will allow me to go back there, so my goal is to go back tomorrow and fill out the application and do what ever else they want me to do. I know I can do this, I just didn't let the panic pass, I freaked out and ran...tomorrow I'm not going to.

Hi Lil_bit, Yes - baby steps - these are very important! Let these smaller successes guide you for the bigger tasks. Be sure to take advantage of the online program if you have not done so already. The exercises can assist you with challenging your thoughts of panic and anxiety. Keep us posted as to how you are doing, Casey ___________________________________ The Panic Center Support Team

Hiya Lil_bit! I totally agree with arteest here :) Congratulations on getting that far. And baby steps is a good method. So Kudos on what you accomplished. Don't be so hard on yourself and celebrate the things you did succeed :) You will see, it will be ok :) Take care :) -Diva

awwwwwwww lil bit. Kudos to you for getting out there and getting that far. Baby steps, remember? I hope you can finish the task. If not though, congratulate yourself on what you've accomplished! :) I went to church on Sunday (by myself!) and didn't dash out the side door as soon as the service was over. I stood up in the line and forced myself to say hi to the pastor. (ok - I nearly RAN for the door aftward - lol) But wow- did it ever feel good looking back on it. They've been saying on the posts to celebrate the little things. Hard to remember, I know. I just thought It was worth repeating. Good luck!

So there's this place right around the corner from my house that's hiring...woo hoo, right? No...I finally talk myself into getting up the nerve to take my resume in, and then they want me to fill out an application. (Something I've never understood) I wrote my name, panicked, and then pretended that I just realized it was quarter to three and I had to get my mom's car back so she could get to work...only problem is, she doesn't work till 11pm, lol. I'm now trying to work up the nerve to go back there so I can fill in the application, but I'm worried that if I can't even do that, I won't be able to make it to work. Ok, I needed to get that off my chest, I'm going to go relax for a bit on the couch, as my nerves are all over the place at the minute.
