Personal Question (being romantic)

It is an excellent question! Thank you for posting it. We are all different, that is true but we are all letting our anxiety affect our lives either by wanting sex as an escape or avoiding it! It is crap! I have stopped avoiding sex in the past 3 weeks and at least it is something less to get anxious about lol

From my point of view as a man is different then firemans . I don't want or even desire intamacy at this point and its been like this for 3 years. So I think everybody has differenr levels of it.

Well from a mans point of view it seems the only thing that totally takes my mind off of the panic attacks is sex. Its time spent not worring but feeling totally relaxed.

I don't think it is uncommon, after all we spend a lot of our energy being anxious and panicking so not much room for anything else! Try to relax and enjoy it if you can, little bits at the time and do not give yourself a hard time - that is the difficult bit!!!! ;)

Oh thank you Moochela for sharing this with me. It is great not to be alone with this. I will take the advice of danielle and start very slow and work my way away from the avoidance slowly. And i am sure it will resolve itself. Thanks for telling me it can be done and that it can be enjoyable again! Thanks very very much!!!! -Diva
