Can't work because of Anxiety. And I'm scared

Not sure if this will help now and because everyone is different, but the meds I had the best results with were the Xanax extended release pills. I am also on a lot Effexor and Lamictal[sp] for bi-polar issues.

Hi Michelle, I have similar symptoms that you describe. You said that they are helping with meds. Does that mean that that is how the doctors are trying to help you or that the meds are actually helping you? How do you feel now? Do you feel comfortable saying what the meds were? Thank you. Ken

Kelly333, If you need financial aid, try asking your doctor for a referral to a social worker or call your local public health department. They too will also be able to help you get into contact with people who can help you determine whether or not you qualify for some form of social assistance. Michelle, Welcome to The Panic Center. We thank you for sharing your story with us today. This support group is full of supportive individuals who may be able to help you answer some questions regarding panic and anxiety. It is great to hear that you are working with a doctor. In the meantime please feel free to roam the site at your own pace. If you look to the left of the screen under "TOOLS" you will find many supportive tests. These tests are not diagnostic tools and are not a replacement or substitute for a physicians advice. The purpose of these tests is to prepare you with information that you can present to your physician. When you're finished the test, you can either print your Final Report or email it directly to your doctor. We also have developed a Panic Program. This program is 12-weeks and involves the tools mentioned above. Each session is based on the previous session, so we strongly advise that you work slowly through the program and not jump ahead. If you have any questions or concerns with our "TOOLS" you can contact our support department at support@paniccenter.net. Take care and we hope to hear from you soon. Hi; For the past year it's been really bad. I've been fired from four jobs in the past year because I would call off so many times. Before work I would be in the fetal position screaming, crying, heart rate of 100 sweating etc. I hate being on disability and want my life back. I'm 30 and feel like I've achieved nothing. Is anyone else having issues like this. It's terrible. I went to a psychiatrist last week in san fran as we don't have any in the small town I live in. And they are helping with meds. Thanks so much. Michelle
